Alisha L. Maline is an attorney for Varner & Brandt’s Business Litigation and Labor & Employment Teams in Riverside. Alisha received her law degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Her legal experience while at Chicago-Kent included working as a Judicial Extern at the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois and holding a Law Clerk position at Dickinson Wright in the Commercial & Business Litigation department.
Alisha also held a position with the Riverside Public Defender’s Office as a Certified Law Clerk in the Domestic Violence Felony Unit where she made regular court appearances for arraignments, sentencings, motion hearings, and preliminary hearings. Alisha served as an Associate Editor for Chicago-Kent’s Journal of Intellectual Property and a member of Chicago-Kent’s Law Lab Fellowship program focusing on research at the intersection of law, technology, and business.
Prior to law school, Alisha worked as a finance professional for five years at BDO USA assisting public and private companies with business valuations for mergers and acquisitions, tax and financial report, reorganizations, and shareholder buyouts and disputes. Alisha graduated from University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance.
